Refund policy
Material purchased from Delay Review may be refunded within 30 days of the transaction date. A request made within that window does not require a reason and is not subject to a review of how much of the material was read.
How to request a refund
Send a message to support@delayreview.site from the email address used at checkout, including:
- The email address used at checkout, if the message is sent from a different one.
- The approximate date of the transaction.
- The order or transaction reference, if one was issued.
No form, no telephone call and no explanation is needed. A refund is not conditional on completing a survey or on accepting an alternative product.
Timing
- Acknowledgement: within two business days of the request.
- Refund issued to the payment processor: within five business days of the request being confirmed.
- Funds appearing on the statement: typically 5 to 10 business days after the refund is issued for card payments, and up to two billing cycles for some issuers. This part of the timeline is controlled by the card issuer or bank, not by Delay Review.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method and in the original currency. Where the original method is no longer active, the payment processor determines the alternative route.
Access after a refund
Access to the refunded material ends when the refund is issued. Any files already downloaded remain subject to the licence terms in the terms of use, which do not permit redistribution.
Limits
- Requests made after the 30-day window are considered case by case and may be declined, except where a statutory right applies.
- One refund per purchaser per item. A repurchase of previously refunded material is not refundable a second time.
- Refunds may be declined where there is evidence of redistribution of the material or of use of a fraudulent payment method.
Currency and fees
The refunded amount is the amount charged. Where a card issuer applied a currency conversion or an international transaction fee at the time of purchase, the amount landing back on the statement may differ slightly because of the issuer's own exchange rate on the date of the refund. Those differences are set by the issuer and are outside the control of Delay Review.
Before opening a bank dispute
Contacting the mailbox first is usually faster than a chargeback. A refund within the window is issued without argument and typically reaches the statement sooner than a dispute resolves. The terms of use set out how disputes are handled where one is opened.
Statutory rights
This policy is offered in addition to, and does not restrict, rights available under applicable law. Purchasers in Brazil retain the right of withdrawal under Article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (Lei nº 8.078/1990) for purchases made outside a commercial establishment, within seven days of the contract or of receipt. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom retain their statutory cancellation rights for distance contracts, subject to the rules that apply to digital content supplied immediately with the consumer's consent. Where a statutory right is more favourable than this policy, the statutory right prevails.
Questions
Questions about this policy, including questions about a purchase that has not yet been made, may be sent to support@delayreview.site.
